Making Memories of Us...

Monday, August 17, 2009

I had a blast chillin' in my friend F's kampung during the weekend...she invited us, "les filles" to her kenduri (Malay feast or celebration). So, what else? We went along...of course before going, M pulled a huge prank on me, makin me turn back towards home. She said i had to go alone, as she couldn't make it. Yeah, turning back, she said it was a joke. F***!!! I was pwned!!! Hahahaha...and yes, my sis got mad coz she had to send me to UKM and she was in a bad mood. LOL!!! Okaaaay...

The next step...the trip! Was not very long, but it was long? How's that? Hahahah, i dunno how to explain...

We made a pit stop to eat and stuff, then took a bus to F's place. It was OK coz we were doing nothing but talking and shit like that...hehehe!

Then, upon reaching, we met her parents and sister...what a bunch of great people... :)

First time her dad smiled at me, i did my 'gelabah' reaction...because i saw F when he smiled, and of course, i freaked M out...heheheheh!!! It was funny...they look so alike--when they smile!!! ZOMG...LOL!!!

F's mom made us feel at ease the moment we stepped into their huge, beautiful home...and her sis cooked us dinner! :D

The next day, I experienced first hand...the Malay-Muslim custom of prayer and feast...the kenduri. Witnessed how they interact, pray, etc...and sure, people thought i was a Malay...and they thought i didn't know how to pray, hehehe...coz i was with them while they were reading the "Yassin"...and yes, i got puzzled and perplexed looks...LOL! I don't really care though...coz I got to watch this joyous occassion...

After all was done, I took a nap, hehehe...then M saw me, and she followed suit...copy-cat! LOL...F's parents were nice enough to bring us along for a long evening drive which i loved...saw their land, their shop, and of course, more...then, had our dinner of yummy kenduri leftovers...*Om nyom nyom!!!*

Went to sleep once we came home, but not without me panicking coz i saw some white worm-like creature on my foot, in which i screamed loudly while M, F and me were relaxing...i performed the bicycle and attempted to wipe-out that creature on the carpet-->instead, i kicked M with my feet moving in circular motion, and she also freaked out and performed the bicycle...in the end, we looked like 2 upside-down tortoises, moving our feet above like we were riding a bicycle...OMG, just writing about this makes me laugh...it didn't help that i wanted to pee...thank God i went to the bathroom in time...Damn! Hahahahahahah...

Of course, there's more to be said about this...many omitted activities coz there's just too little time and i'm feeling kinda lazy, lol! But all in all...I HAD A BLAST!!!

Too bad A couldn't attend...she was so afraid we'd be mad, but we're not...would've been better if she had come though...and she attended the MTV Worlds Stage concert...*sobs* in which i'm super jealous coz she got two see cool awesome bands...the AAR, Hoobastank and Kasabian!!! :'(

Fit's parents were nice enough to take us for brekkie this morning before classes, and they dropped us back to UKM...well, we thank them wholeheartedly for their hospitality...and i hope we could meet again in the future...maybe for F's wedding with El-Arabi? Hahahaha, ZOMG! Sorry, couldn't help it...

For me, the one thing is...in each friendship i have, it's sincere...no fake stuff for me, please.

My friends and I, we all have our inside jokes...cues to laughter, i would say. That's what makes it real to me...the old ones (you're not old, you guys just happen to be by oldest friends ok? Hehehe...), the current ones, the ones i've met in passing...none of it was/is fake. That's why they know the real me and vice versa.

Thank you God for my wonderful friends...i know once we graduate, maybe we'll drift apart in our own ambitions, but the memories we created will never be erased...and we will always, one way or another be connected even though we're apart...even now, my childhood friends remain connected with me, and i hope i get to maintain all of these circles...

Wow, quite an ending...an ode to friendship! I always talk about my love for my family, but this one on friends, not so much...so here it is, in all it's glory...*shout out to my friends reading this!!! Have great week, y'all!*

Multi-Layered Dads...Just Like An Onion?

Sunday, July 26, 2009

Ok, so just a few days ago i wrote a post about my love for mom and dad...and now, lemme write about my current mood; which is "Huh?"+ anger...

So i told my dad i was going to Genting with friends the other day...i was surprised he took it quite well, until; i reminded him yesterday...then, he started with a "Whatttt???"...and today, i got a nice lecture about my frequent "outings" with friends...i'm just sitting there like "WHATTAFUCK???"

Luckily, I don't know what divine power was keeping me super calm and collected, that i just shut the fuck up...while seeing my mom and sister's sympathetic face...hmmph!!! I mean, yeah so far...i went out like what...twice or so? WTF!!! And he said i didn't do any chores...OMG, did i not mop the floor in front of you the day before? I was literally laughing in my head at the ridiculousness!!! OMG...as i left, he then said..."Ok, have a good time and call us before and after you get there, k?"

If that ain't enough, my dad then started praising my sister for her help...that, ok...i agree! She has been a big help! But my dad is crayzay!!! Hahahaha...Okok...what else? Oh yeah...after laughing it off with my sis in the car...my mom calls and she tells me that she too was given a lecture? What??? Not cool!!! I think tonight, dad is just plain cayzaaaayyyyyy!!!

And too make it more laughable, my dad initially didn't let my sister send me back to uni...coz when i told him about it, he said "This is too much..." (I'm laughing in my head as i type this!!!) He said it with his index finger swaying in the air...much like a dictator giving his propaganda...

It's a revelation how my dad sometimes act like this...his moods are much like a woman on menopause; well...maybe? Hahaha! All i know is that i take it with a grain of salt, and i laugh it off coz he knows i wouldn't take it to heart...it's funny though! He said he wouldn't have let me go...but my mom said i should...and because of that, he's letting me go!!! THANK GOD FOR MOM!!!

But what's funnier is my baby sister acting the fool while dad lectures me...she was entertaining to the brink of madness! Can you imagine trying to act serious, while dad is giving you a lecture...and then this little girl dances around you, and play peek-a-boo around your dad! Bwahahahahaha...i just love her, you know? Sigh, my spoilt little baby...i wouldn't wanna imagine my (our) life without her!!! She is just a blessing to my family...i don't even for a second think that they would remain...i don't think we would be as close as we are now...all these scenarios, we would never know coz God has blessed us with this gift...LOL! How rich!!! From dad's onion-like layers to my baby sister...how my thoughts flow is somewhat a mystery by itself!!!

To reiterate my point, though...My dad is an onion!!! Hahahaha...

Benny Lava...I Lava U!

Tuesday, February 10, 2009

First things first...I almost peed in my pants after watching this...it's just one of those finds...a hidden treasure, not so known, yet popular...just don't know how to explain it.

I found this while searching for another funny Indian video (Indian 'Thriller'...ROFL)...the subtitles were done by this guy called Buffalax, and boy...he is a genius...genius...GENIUS!!!

After watching this video like a hundred times, it's no wonder it has a high watch count...people probably watched thousands of times...over and over and over again...and spread it around like viral marketing!

Good times to be had Benny Lava...he even asks 'have you been high today?'...

How did you know? Lol!

It's actually sung in Tamil, but Buffalax thought it would be a good idea to write how it sounded in English, you know...in case we wanted to sing along. I can't imagine singing "I want to se you pee on us tonight..." with a straight face. I mean, it's just too fucking funny!

Hilarious...my laugh actually made my tummy hurt, and my pee almost came out. Honest!

And I can't stand some people who don't have a sense of humor...c'mon, i'm half-Indian (Sinhalese), and you gotta admit, the lyrics does sound like the song, and it wasn't done in malice...it brought on laughs...that, my friend, is universal!

So God bless Buffalax...and of course...

GOD BLESS BENNY LAVA (Real name: Prabhu Deva)!!!

Last Week...I Sawr A Film...As I Recall It Was A Horror Film...

Friday, January 23, 2009

Well, that was just an excerpt from that fantabulous video with that awesomely funny song about...ummm...well, cumming in your pants...men's version! I've watched this in the past few weeks, and I can't believe i've not grown tired of it yet!

It's hilariously crude...but it's for goofballs only! Serious mo'fo' s need not apply. Andy and Jorma, 2/3 of the SNL shorts' makers (The Lonely Island) make this video about premature ejaculation...when they see girls they like...and they move on to telling us that they even cum to petty things like...an alarm that goes off, a gush of wind blowing, a song that reminds them of a girl, a phone call from a girl, eating a grape, and finding out that Bruce Willis was dead at the end of Sixth Sense (HAHA...both my fave parts! No, all of them actually!)

I dunno...the song is catchy too! Has hints of Timbaland in it's production, although I can't verify it. Justin Timberlake makes a cameo too! Watch for the cleaner in the aisle. So does Molly Sims and Jamie-Lynn Siegler (Go Soprano's!)

Well...whaddya know...a post just for a short video...or two, rather! How unlike me! What can I say, SNL roxx! I remember movies straight from SNL...A Night At the Roxbury, Superstar, Ladies Man...LMAO...it roxx! It still bob my head to Haddaway's 'What Is Love?' like the Butabi bros from Roxbury...holy shizz!

I'm such a goofball! But I love it! Things like these give me temporary relief from all the shit that happens...so enjoy while you can! Escape when you can.
